Associate Director Offensive Security - Service NSWAs the Associate Director - Offensive Security, you will lead a team to provide offensive security and automation services to protect the organization and provide visibility into potential gaps and misconfigurations that undermine the security posture.
Responsibilities include: Leading a team of professional offensive security and security automation staff.Performing red and purple team exercises to test application and infrastructure controls.Maintaining vulnerability and attack surface tooling.Automating the collection of metrics from different functions.Performing threat modelling and risk identification activities in collaboration with DevSecOps and other functions.The person will have hands-on experience in reconnaissance and hacking of systems, adept at navigating and exploiting vulnerabilities.
They will be proficient in working within a complex digital environment that employs agile methodologies.
We are seeking a highly skilled technical expert in red and purple teaming, with substantial experience in automation, dashboarding, and continuous scanning.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to distill highly complex scenarios into plain English for C-suite executives and engineering SMEs.
Excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Proven leadership skills along with the capacity to work effectively within a dynamic team are essential.
Passion for offensive security, keeping abreast of the latest developments and trends and applying them within the team is necessary.
You must be a self-starter, able to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision.
They should be comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making well-informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
Additionally, the candidate should be at ease developing offensive strategies and establishing a center of excellence.
Salary: Service NSW Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $151,509 base plus superannuation.
