About the Role As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's Cost Management team in Sydney. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of highly skilled professionals, driving business development initiatives, and delivering outstanding results on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cost management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to strengthen the team's capabilities. Provide strategic guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development. Cost Management: Oversee the delivery of cost management services on major projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules. Develop and implement innovative cost management strategies and methodologies. Conduct detailed cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments. Provide expert advice to clients on cost-effective solutions and risk mitigation strategies. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive growth and revenue. Represent the firm at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's brand and expertise.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record in cost management and team leadership within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and contract administration. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. A passion for delivering exceptional client service and exceeding expectations.
