This pivotal role, based in our Brisbane office, offers the opportunity to drive growth in the region delivering top-tier cost management services.We are looking for a chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience at the Associate Director level, particularly in large-scale projects within the infrastructure and property sectors.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in client management and business development, coupled with strong leadership skills.As part of this role, you will collaborate with the Queensland Infrastructure and property teams and Directors across our global operations, including the UK and Malaysia.
Your primary focus will be on securing and managing large-scale cost management opportunities, building a robust pipeline of work, and delivering exceptional outcomes aligned with our global standards.This role is a blend of hands-on cost management and strategic leadership, offering a chance to make a tangible impact on TSA's growth in Queensland while contributing to some of the most exciting and high-profile projects in the region.Leverage your existing network to bring in new cost management opportunities for TSA Riley in Queensland.Strategically identify and secure new clients, showcasing TSA Riley's capabilities in delivering large, complex projects.Manage, mentor, and oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring quality and alignment with project goals.Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability for team deliverables and performance.Represent TSA Riley as a trusted expert in cost management during client meetings and bid presentations.Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.Develop and implement a local marketing strategy to increase TSA Riley's presence in Queensland.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with regional and global business objectives.Drive cross-selling opportunities across TSA Riley's service lines to add value to clients and strengthen the firm's reputation.Provide pre- and post-contract cost management services for high-value projects.Ensure deliverables meet performance milestones and align with global standards.Maintain ties with professional bodies such as the RICS and uphold TSA Riley's reputation for excellence.About you.A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or an equivalent professional body.Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager at the Associate Director level.A proven track record in business development and securing client engagements.Expertise in resource planning, project management, and team leadership.Experience with CostX software (essential).A strong background in delivering projects across various sectors, including residential, retail, industrial, healthcare, and leisure.Previous experience in a reputable local or international consultancy practice.A collaborative mindset, capable of working as part of a global team to deliver exceptional services.This role offers a unique opportunity to shape TSA Riley's growth in Queensland while contributing to some of the region's most dynamic projects.
