Our Contaminated Land Management (CLM) team proactively work with clients to provide pragmatic contamination advice and achieve practical and efficient outcomes.
Our team offers a unique blend of technical expertise which spans 'whole-of project' needs, strategic and regulatory relations experience to deliver, scientific, technically robust and risk-based solutions for our clients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our CLM team for an Associate Director to join on a permanent basis, based in our Melbourne office, The role will see you play a key role delivering projects across a range of industry sectors, including infrastructure, mining and renewables.
In addition, you will help to lead and grow the CLM business through your technical expertise and leveraging of industry networks.
Here's what you can expect: Your deep knowledge will provide you with the opportunity to be a Technical Leader, shaping and streamlining the way we deliver projects whilst being able to think outside the box to offer innovative solutions.
You'll play a pivotal role in the growth of our Contaminated Land Practice through utilisation of your strong local network.
You'll be a strong communicator, able to engage with stakeholders, providing senior level technical advice and guidance clients to ensure projects are delivered within the agreed specifications.
Your technical expertise will go beyond contaminated land with the opportunity to collaborate across divisions, mentor staff and pursue a broad variety of projects.
You'll also provide technical peer review of EMM workflows, proposals and draft reports, with emphasis on contentious and/or complex problems/projects.
You'll work in close collaboration with technical teams across EMM to leverage existing client relationships, innovation and expertise.
With a national delivery ethos, you'll also have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects across Australia.
Your expertise will make a difference from coast to coast.
As an industry expert, you'll inspire and support other EMMer's on their development journey.
Autonomy, flexibility and support to balance all aspects of your life.
Here's what you'll bring to have impact: Ideally you bring 15-20 years' plus industry experience in Contaminated Land Management.
Experience delivering projects in brownfield closure and decommission, energy and/or mining.
Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Environment or Science.
A strong scientific or engineering background in contaminated land and understanding of scientific and engineering principles.
Proven capability in business development, as well as the ability to leverage internal contacts.
CEnvP-SC or NSW/VIC EPA site auditor accreditations will be looked upon favourably.
Ability to work across various industries to grow business.
Experience and desire to mentor others.
