Our client is a national commercial law firm with offices in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane & Adelaide, and we are currently looking for an Associate - Construction to join their team in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
Working within the busy and successful Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team in our Melbourne office where you will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of front and back end high quality construction work across a broad spectrum of construction matters and contractual disputes.
Drafting of commercial and litigation documents.
Exposure to a range of interesting projects, construction and infrastructure work, as well as being exposed to a range of clients including head contractors, developers, consultants and subcontractors.
Experience in a wide variety of high-value commercial disputes and other litigation.
Requirements:
Experience as an admitted lawyer with 3 - 6 years PQE experience within Construction
Exposure to both front end and back end work is desirable
An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients
Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at time working to tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
