Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee planning, execution, and closure, ensuring contractual profitability and obligations are met.
Key accountabilities: Ensure the works are delivered to overall program cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction.Identify and assess risk to the works as well as implementing strategies to mitigate risk.Use your technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunities.Cost and forecast control to assist the managers with strategic planning.Lead, develop and manage teams on the ground.Build effective and collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisors.Maintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the project.Required Skills and Competencies You will ideally have a degree in civil engineering.You will have extensive site experience and have demonstrated experience managing teams.You will be able to manage, and develop long-term programs as well as display a high level of competency around contracts, cost forecasting, & management of a large team of engineers.Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representatives.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023 & 2024 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
