This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in an exciting industry, where you can grow and explore your potential.About your new teamThe Retail IT group of ActewAGL's Technology Division is highly customer focused, providing a broad range of Technology services to the ActewAGL Retail business. This includes projects, business as usual (BAU) work and production support. We are a highly supportive, collaborative, fun and dynamic team.About your new roleIn this role, you will work collaboratively with other Business Analysts within the team to understand, analyse and document business requirements, scope work and document business processes (current and future state) relating to ActewAGL technology initiatives. The Associate Business Analyst will also work with Development teams and Testers to enable the successful delivery of business requirements, while proactively looking to implement continuous improvement to the way things are done.A day in the life of the roleYou will be applying discovery processes and documenting business requirements.Analyse business requestsApply Agile techniquesWork with Developers and Testers to ensure clarity on requirementsContribute to team brainstorms and continuous improvementAssist with creating UI mock upsBuild strong stakeholder relationships within the team and across the businessAbout you and what you will bring to be successfulEssentialYou possess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsYou have strong written and verbal communication skillsYou have a desire to learn and adapt quickly to changeYou have the ability to prioritise and manage workloads to ensure effective delivery of tasksYou have a degree or final year of a degree in Business Analytics or Information TechnologyDesirable but not essentialExperience using Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience writing user stories and detailed business requirementsExperience facilitating requirements gathering workshops6 to 12 months in a Business Analyst roleSo, why join us?At ActewAGL, we pride ourselves on putting our people first.
