Reporting to the Warehouse & Procurement Manager, the purpose of this role is to control and document stock movements across orchard and other equipment in accordance with service standards for properly maintained, working lease equipment. Develop strategic and supporting relationships through all aspects of the business to drive and improve efficiencies and productivity. This role will assume responsibility in the absence of the Warehouse and Procurement Manager.
Parts & Ordering
Create and handle purchase orders, asset, and spare component lists; assist as required in budget management and equipment ordering.
Ensure budget targets on parts inventory levels are met.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports regarding ordering and warehouse operation.
Participate in parts receiving and warehouse distribution and ensure all purchase orders are on time.
Liaise with orchards and maintenance personnel on parts requirements.
Compare pricing with suppliers on parts and negotiate.
Understand parts warranty claims process for suppliers and manufacturers.
Provide advice to different departments in terms of parts planning and inventory control.
Warehouse & Maintenance
Implement company policies and procedures to control warehouse operation.
Lead the warehouse team, as directed by the Warehouse Manager, to allocate tasks and follow up on outstanding matters.
Assist across all areas when team members are absent.
Identify and provide training to warehouse personnel to ensure proper and sufficient knowledge and skills are developed.
Goods Issue & Receival
Collaborate with store personnel with goods issue.
Pick parts from the shelf and distribute to farms.
Record, control, and develop the process flow to ensure everything is on track and on time.
Organise freight of goods in and out; assist in logistics management.
Ensure upkeep of related equipment, timely repairs, and servicing.
Facility & Forklift
Ensure safe use of forklift by following guidelines and training.
General housekeeping of warehouse, including straightening and relocating parts and refilling warehouse supplies.
Facilities maintenance.
Safety
Incidents report on MyOsh.
Assist in completing monthly warehouse inspections.
We seek applicants from candidates with a minimum of five (5) years in supply chain, warehouse, or workshop management experience.
You will have competent communication skills, time management skills, solid organization, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A relevant qualification in supply chain or warehouse management is desired, and a current car and forklift license are required, along with the willingness to obtain a truck license.
