As the Assistant Venue Manager for Nineteen Restaurant, you will lead a team of Food & Beverage professionals, ensuring that every guest experience is nothing short of extraordinary. A few of your responsibilities: Lead and mentor a dynamic team of wait staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement Ensure seamless coordination between the front-of-house and back-of-house operations, maintaining efficient communication and workflow Provide exceptional hospitality and anticipate guests' needs, delivering personalized service that leaves a lasting impression Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Nineteen's menu, wine list, and dining offerings, ensuring that your team can confidently guide guests through their culinary journey Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol and relevant provisions of the Liquor Act What are we looking for: Extensive experience in a high-end dining establishment, with a track record of managing and motivating teams to deliver exceptional service A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and quality Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu knowledge, wine pairing, and dining etiquette Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol – RMLV/Approved Manager an advantage About you: With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of fine dining service standards, you thrive in fast-paced environments, where your problem-solving skills and composure shine.
