Our Telstra Store Hay Street is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to join their team on a Full Time basis. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, overseeing a retail team with a unique buzz and energy within a dynamic team environment.

As an Assistant Retail Store Manager at Telstra, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to coach and grow your team. You'll use your management experience to help coach our retail consultants to success, ensuring they're driven and energized to reach and exceed store targets.
What you'll do:

Oversee the induction of your new team members
Coach the store's team to meet (and exceed) store targets
Help support your team with customer query escalations
Act as the Store Manager's right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
Execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics
Lead from the front and help motivate the team, fostering an awesome store culture
Organize the store floor and team's work schedules to meet customer demand

About you:

You have previous experience in a retail leadership/assistant management role
You're able to energize and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
You lead from the front and can influence and build rapport with a diverse team
You can resolve customer issues effectively and creatively
You're an excellent communicator who can support the Store Manager in guiding team members through change
