We service over 50 International and Domestic airlines with more than 500 flights per day and ensure the passenger experience is our number one priority while providing on-time service at the highest possible standard.An exciting and rare opportunity now exists for an Assistant Station Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Station Manager, the role will be responsible for managing the operation and ensuring all areas are operating effectively to meet team goals and objectives.Key duties and responsibilitiesAssist local management in planning and implementing strategies to meet our customer needsAssist with managing daily operationsMonitor operating costs, budgets and resources with a particular focus on man hoursCommunicate with clients and evaluate their needsMonitor and oversee operational inventories and ensure staff have access to and use correct equipment in accordance with SOPsOversee GSE and fleet requirements in accordance with all state, federal and local airport requirementsEvaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs inclusive of new training requirementsSupervise and motivate staff to perform their bestCoach and develop new and existing staffEnsure a safe work culture at all timesHandle grievances from staff as requiredMore about you:Demonstrated skill set in leadership, decision making and organisational skillsAbility to create a harmonious team working environmentAn advocate for promoting a safe and compliant workforceStrong computer literacy – across Microsoft OfficeAbility to communicate effectively and work as part of a teamExcellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloadProven ability to exercise discretion at all timesIf you believe you have the skills, motivation and commitment required for this opportunity, apply now!We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, which values diversity and inclusion.
