An opportunity exists for an ambitious, experienced Assistant Service Manager to lead our team of service advisors and help grow the North East Mitsubishi service business to record levels.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a history of success in: Excellent team management and leadership skills A high level of professionalism and personal presentation Strong focus on delivering high quality services Mitsubishi brand experience will be highly regarded but is not essential Pentana Dealer Management experience will be highly regarded Our Workshop has a high retention rate of both staff and customers, so we're looking for someone who is committed to maintaining our reputation as an employer and dealer of choice in the area.
It is essential that you can perform in a high-pressure environment and consistently meet the expected planning, targets and timeframes required for smooth customer delivery.
You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure sustained focus on service.
Duties & Responsibilities Leading our team of service advisor professionals to continue the growth we are currently experiencing Working closely with the manufacturers' expectations and requirements Measuring, monitoring and improving various service KPIs and profitability Driving retail sales and identifying new opportunities for growth Working closely with the Workshop Controller to ensure great service and sales Managing incoming work and maximizing efficiency, productivity & charging efficiency Stepping in and resolving customer concerns if they are escalated to your level Driving workshop team morale, culture & training and leading the team by example Spearheading the growth of the business and guiding the team into a new era Training and cross-skilling the service advisor team In return we will provide you with: Remuneration and benefits, including an attractive salary, will be commensurate with experience Bonus structure in place with set KPI's A permanent full-time position with the financial security of a substantial, well-established company Company car and fuel allowance 5 day working week – Monday to Friday Ongoing professional development internally and with our IT & Mitsubishi partners A collaborative team environment that values excellence and is committed to customer care Access to dealership discounts including New and Used vehicles, Servicing, Parts, Insurances and Finance Apply Now Ensure that you update your resume.
