What this job involves: We are currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team! You will assist the Senior Property Managers and Property Managers within a close team environment and actively contribute to the delivery of quality property management services across the portfolio.
A snapshot of the role:
Assist with preparation of budgets, outgoings recoveries and forecasts;
Assist with monthly report preparation;
Process accounts payable invoices;
Monitor and actively pursue tenant rental arrears;
Review and manage the tenancy schedule for each property;
Assist in completing rent reviews and other critical items in leases;
Attend tenant meetings with the Property Manager;
Issue purchase orders and setup contracts in JLL Systems;
Liaise with tenants, contractors and owners as required;
General administration, filing and assistance as required;
Ensure all sundry charges and direct recoveries are raised in a timely manner;
Any other tasks requested to be completed by the Property Manager.

Strong Word and Excel skills
Good Communication – Written and Verbal
Property accounting and/or lease administration knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
Understand of MRI or other similar Property Management system would be advantageous but not essential.
Property related degrees or qualifications is desirable.
Qld Real Estate Salesperson Certificate essential
Practical hands-on experience working in a property or Real Estate related environment is desirable.
