The Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites applications from suitably experienced leaders of education for the Assistant Principal position at Mount Carmel Catholic College, Varroville (in the Macarthur Region of NSW) commencing January 2025.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL Mount Carmel Catholic College is a systemic co-educational secondary college located in the Macarthur region. Founded in 1986 on a proud Marist tradition, it is comprehensive in its approach and has a student population of approximately 1141 and a staff of 110. With an enviable academic record for our graduate students, Mount Carmel values excellence as more than just an aspirational goal. QUALIFICATIONS Post-graduate study in a relevant discipline.
Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E) in accordance with the 'Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong' policy (or a commitment to acquiring within a 5 year period).
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
