Assistant Principal - Religious Education (APRE) .
This position is a
Full Time, 5 Year Fixed Term
appointment.The APRE plays a key role in assisting the Principal in evangelising the Mission of the Church through coordinating and managing the Religious Education Curriculum and nurturing the Religious Life of the School.
They are charged with prioritising enhancing their school's Catholic identity and culture through being the lead teacher, specialist and moderator of Religious Education, and supporting and developing the professional formation of staff.The purpose of the APRE role is to exercise senior leadership and assist the Principal with the management of the school in accordance with Catholic tradition in consultation with other personnel as appropriate and with due reference to Catholic Education structures, policies, processes and practices.
