About the role Mary Help of Christians Catholic College , is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Principal - Catholic Identity, Mission and Wellbeing.
This is a permanent teaching role with a five year fixed-term appointment to the Assistant Principal - Catholic Identity, Mission and Wellbeing.
The Assistant Principal – Catholic Identity, Mission and Wellbeing undertakes a senior leadership role in the college's organisation structure and as such, is a member of the College Leadership Team.
The role holder provides innovative and insightful leadership in the critical domains of Catholic Identity and Mission which involves building, nurturing, challenging, advocating, educating, and engaging in the Catholic Story whilst animating the vision of the college across school, parish and local communities.
The role holder also provides for the effective professional leadership and coordination of the Religious Education curriculum.
The Assistant Principal – Catholic Identity, Mission and Wellbeing also provides direct advice and support to college leaders and pastoral staff as they navigate complex student pastoral issues, as well as maintaining a connected network with parents, families and the broader community where appropriate on the matters of wellbeing and care.
