Position: Assistant Principal – Full-time, Ongoing St Francis Xavier Primary School is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students in a co-educational setting from 3 Year Old Kindergarten – Year 6.
The school is seeking an inspiring educator, committed to fostering a love of learning, enhancing student engagement and improving outcomes for all students.

Selection CriteriaGives personal witness to Catholic values in carrying out the day to day duties of the role and engaging students, staff and broader community in the mission of St Francis Xavier as a Catholic school (please provide a Parish Priest reference).Actively promotes a culture of learning and continual improvements, with a focus on learning goals for all students.Has strong understanding of current educational practices.Develops and maintains structures and strategies for effective liaison, consultation, collaboration and partnership with parents/caregivers with a focus on student achievement, wellbeing, safety and resilience.Experience in data collection and analysis at a student, classroom and whole school level with the ability to lead staff in the interpretation of such data.Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all students, staff, families and the Parish.An understanding of requirements and best practices for working with SWD, NCCD, EAL/D.Qualifications RequiredRelevant four year tertiary qualification.Must have or commenced Accreditation to Lead in a Catholic School.A Minimum of seven years relevant educational experience.The initial contract of the Assistant Principal will be for three years.Application RequirementsCover Letter addressing the selection criteria (maximum 2 pages).Curriculum Vitae.Applicants must have a current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA) to be eligible for appointment.
