The Assistant Nursing Director Community Child and Family Health is a key leadership role providing senior Child Health leadership, management, and strategic alignment of services within the communities across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
Demonstrate specialised knowledge and skills in complex, contemporary Child and Family Health practice, working autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to promote and enhance safe delivery of care within Community Child and Family Health Services.

Location is negotiable across CQHHS About the role:Initiate, influence, and maintain highly functioning relationships with and between key stakeholders to proactively manage expectations and support clinical care.Collaborate in the development and evaluation of the effectiveness of systems supporting continuous improvement across Community Child and Family Health Service.Lead the planning, coordination and formulation of healthcare policies that support professional decision making in alignment with professional standards and frameworks.About you:Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.A relevant postgraduate qualification at an Australian Qualification Framework level 9 in which Child Health was a large component is a requirement of this position.Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion of the required post-graduate study within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance review process.Minimum of 2 years experience working at an advanced level across all domains within the Child and Family Health context is appealable.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $186,413 p.a. is comprised of:
