MA Services Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant National Operations Manager for our cleaning division. Reporting to the National Operations Manager - Cleaning, This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operational excellence and drive forward our mission of delivering superior service to our clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in coordinating and managing daily operational activities across multiple regions. Support leadership team and state managers in implementing operational strategies and ensuring alignment with company goals. Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Assist in resource planning, including manpower allocation, equipment deployment, and inventory management. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability among operational staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance operational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Assist in budget planning and management to achieve financial objectives and optimise resource utilization. Support training and development initiatives for operational staff to enhance skills and performance. Act as a point of contact for operational issues and provide timely resolution and support. Skills and Experience: Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in operations management or a similar role within the cleaning industry. Knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to cleaning operations. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, priorities, and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and goals are met. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving operational goals. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in gathering, analysing, and presenting data effectively to create comprehensive and insightful reports that support informed decision-making and drive operational improvements. Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with operational management systems Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
