Assistant Ministerial Liaison Officer Location – Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available Employment type – Ongoing full-time position (35 hrs per week) Salary – Clerk Grade 5/6, Base Salary ($93,295 – $102,941), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role This position involves crafting timely and accurate responses to Ministerial correspondence, briefings, and Parliamentary materials. You'll research and prepare essential documents for Ministerial offices, ensuring high-quality communication. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who thrive in a dynamic environment, as you'll play a crucial role in supporting government operations and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll do As part of the Ministerial Support Team, you will prepare Ministerial correspondence, briefings, and Parliamentary documents, ensuring all materials are accurate and timely. You'll coordinate and review Parliamentary materials, manage agendas, and collate essential reports for Ministerial offices.
You will also:
Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff within the Department of Communities and Justice and related agencies. Ensure timely document preparation by following up on overdue advice and identifying additional input needs. Exercise sound judgment and critically analyze information to support decision-making. Work as part of a team of dedicated professionals who value quality and collaboration, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
