The section is comprised of people working in Canberra and across Australia.The integrity culture team has an exciting work program to uplift institutional integrity culture in the department and deliver on the actions included within the department's integrity strategy and on integrity aspects of broader APS reform work within the department.The team provides advice and support in conjunction with our branch colleagues on a range of integrity matters. Our ideal candidate adds to this culture and our workplace in their own way.What you will doThe Assistant Manager, Integrity Culture will work with the team to undertake procurement processes to deliver key aspects of the department's Integrity Strategy. This includes events management of the Integrity Branch's hypothetical series and bespoke integrity training for SES and APS staff. You will be confident co-facilitating and facilitating training to staff in the department and be involved in communications activities, designing a toolkit for internal integrity ambassadors and working on preparing the next departmental Integrity Strategy. The Assistant Manager has one direct report to assist with these tasks.Key Tasks For This Position Include:Running procurements to support integrity activities.Delivering on the actions in the DISR Integrity Strategy 2023-25.Delivering or co-facilitating training.Writing briefs to executive sub-committees and/or Executive Board.Attending sub-committees to support presentations.Providing advice and support to the department on integrity matters.Attending interdepartmental forums on integrity.Coordinating and delivering 'hypothetical' sessions.Developing a toolkit and training for internal integrity ambassadors.Supporting the DISR Integrity Champion.Leading and mentoring junior staff.Ad-hoc work as required, including Cabinet briefs and comments.EligibilityTo be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.NotesThe department does offer flexible work opportunities for many roles. This vacancy can be based in Canberra or anywhere in Australia. Flexible and remote work arrangements will be considered as will part-time hours.
