Westmorland & Furness are looking for an outstanding
Lead Lawyer of Adult Social Care
FULLY REMOTE
We are seeking a Lawyer with experience in court of protection matters and providing legal advice to a Local Authority on all aspects of adult safeguarding law. The position involves preparation and representation in court of protection matters, advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults, and guiding the Council on its duties under the Care Act.
We are a small team that meets weekly on Teams to discuss allocation, share good practices, and review cases. The team is supported by a Group Lawyer, Senior Lawyer, two Lawyers, and one Legal Officer.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a practising Lawyer.
