We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Manager at Little Shack. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe bar and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership- Supervise and motivate team members.- Labour management and HR.- Provide training and support to enhance team performance.- Lead by example and foster a positive work environment.Customer Service- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Operations- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers.- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.- Implement policies and procedures.Financial Management- Assist with cost control and wastage.- Manage cash handling and transactions accurately.- Contribute to achieving revenue and profit targets.Reporting- Generate and analyse relevant reports.- Communicate key performance indicators to management.- Contribute insights for business improvement.Qualifications Required- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry.- Strong leadership and communication skills.- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.- Knowledge of coffee and food & beverage industry trends.- Understanding of alcohol-related compliance.- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic accounting principles.- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.How to ApplyCome on!
