About the Role As an Assistant Manager your role is to partner with the Relationship Manager to support your portfolio in all aspects of customer service, compliance, processes, systems, and governance.  They are primarily responsible for supporting Relationship Manager in growing new and existing customer revenue by conducting financial analysis and credit strategy recommendations for designated customer groups.

Role Location: Gold Coast QLD
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time
What will your day look like? To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Maintaining a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures
Maintaining control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment process
Acting in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach
Proactively developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs
Providing solution towards account maintenance and simple customer requests
Supporting the Relationship Manager with management of a portfolio of SME customers
Collaborating with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customers' needs
Engaging specialist teams when required

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
• Great financial literacy, analytical skills, commercial and business acumen,
• Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret implications of financial trends,
• Prior experience in developing strong relationships in a customer delivery/ customer experience role,
• Sound understanding of the structuring of security arrangements,
• Experience in the banking industry is an advantage, but not a requirement, and
• Preferably possesses an accounting or finance degree or equivalent, though not a strict requirement.
