This role combines traditional accounting expertise with strategic structuring skills, ensuring that organizational entities align with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with legal counsel, tax advisors, and executives to design structures that optimize tax, financial reporting, and risk management.Responsibilities Structuring: Advise on and create efficient legal and organizational structures for tax efficiency, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and asset protection. Entity Formation: Guide entity selection, oversee documentation and filing, and manage banking relationships. Financial and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure entities and overall structure comply with IFRS, GAAP, and other standards, setting up internal controls and record-keeping aligned with regulatory needs. Cross-Border Structuring and International Tax: Provide expertise on international tax treaties, transfer pricing, and profit repatriation for cross-border entities.Minimum RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior position within a large commercial organization, or at a Senior to Manager level within the audit, consulting, or taxation divisions of a Big Four or Second-Tier firm.Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and taxation principles, with a proven track record of managing complex group reporting functions.An extensive understanding of tax laws pertaining to business entities, corporate structures, and cross-border transactions is highly desirable.Substantial experience in managing and reporting within intricate group structures, ensuring that all reporting complies fully with financial and regulatory standards.Advanced skills in conducting thorough research and analysis to support informed, data-driven decision-making in the realms of regulatory compliance and corporate structuring.Established ability to collaborate effectively across various departments, accompanied by excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
