About the RoleAs an Assistant Manager in SME Banking Eastern Victoria – Albury, you'll play a key role in helping to acquire, grow and retain a quality portfolio of customers.
Your role is to partner with the Relationship Manager to support your portfolio in all aspects of customer service, compliance, processes, systems, and governance.
What will your day look like?As an Assistant Manager, you will also have the opportunity to:
Maintain a well-managed portfolio compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.Maintain control of workflows across all compliance and customer fulfilment processes.Act in the best interest of the customer and apply a customer-centric approach.Proactively develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customer business and financial needs.Provide solutions towards account maintenance and simple customer requests.Support the Relationship Manager with management of a portfolio of SME customers.Collaborate with Product Partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customers' needs.Engage specialist teams when required.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Relationship Management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Portfolio Management: The selection, prioritisation and management of a portfolio of work/and or customers in line with its strategic objectives and capacity to deliver.Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options that meet those needs.Fulfilment: The end-to-end execution of a process, or part thereof, to achieve a customer or end user outcome.Support credit approval activities with emerging proficiency in credit assessment and management.Data Interpretation: Using data and reporting to draw insights to problem solve and/or inform business or customer decisions.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
