About the role
We are seeking a recent finance or accounting graduate ready to take the next step in their career. We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant with some foundational accounting experience who is eager to learn and grow.
Based in either our Brisbane or North Sydney office, this is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience in financial reporting and management, and build your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
Support the financial management of our Engineering business unit by reviewing and analysing P&L, preparing reports, and processing journals.
Assist with the preparation of consolidated month-end reports and schedules.
Manage financial tasks for the Project Management business unit, including raising purchase orders and posting recharges.
Maintain SAP system data, including vendor and customer information.
With support, participate in ad hoc projects for the Senior Leadership Team.
About you
Recently graduated with a university degree in accounting or a related field.
Basic accounting experience to include journal entries and reconciliations.
Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
