About the role Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and looking for that next step in a leadership position? We are currently seeking to hire 3 x full-time ongoing Assistant House Supervisors.
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily care of young people in our residential care homes. In this rewarding role, you will step in during the House Supervisor's absence, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for our residents. As part of our Out of Home Care Program, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of young people while collaborating with the House Supervisor.
If you're ready to inspire and empower, we want to hear from you! Our Offer Hourly Rate of $43.08 to $46.35 as outlined in the SCHADS Award Level 4, dependent on qualification and experience. Penalty and allowances are applied on top of the hourly rate.Salary packaging–we can help you to maximize your salary packaging up to $18,550 per year, which allows you to reduce the amount of tax you pay.Paid Training that is industry-specific including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Sanctuary, and Cultural Awareness training.Fitness Passport - which is a discounted workplace health and fitness program available to you and your family.Employee Assistance Program - Free access to a wide range of options with all aspects of life such as social, financial, physical, and mental health by providing counselling and coaching support.Sanctuary Organisation - MacKillop's work is underpinned by the Sanctuary Model, an evidence-supported, whole of organisation framework that brings our values to life.Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have: A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, and support a team of residential care workers.Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.Please address the full Key Selection Criteria outlined in the PD as part of your application.
