Job Description The Louis Dreyfus Company are currently recruiting for the full-time position of Assistant Ginner, based in Dalby.
In this role you will be part of a small team and be involved in all aspects of cotton ginning operations including but not limited to:supervising a seasonal team of workers during day or night shiftmonitoring production, conducting preventative maintenance and resolving breakdowns promptly ensuring safe systems of work and sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision is provided for health and safetyDesired skillsginning experience preferredmechanically minded or experience in a production/manufacturing environmentsafety-aware and have fitness to handle long shifts during the seasoneager to learn and able to think on your feet and troubleshootself-starter with the ability to work independently takes initiative good work ethic and team playerability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees and with people from diverse backgroundsTo be successful in this role you will also be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
