ProTen attributes a great deal of its past success to the adoption and implementation of a continuous improvement culture that encourages employees and other stakeholders to share new ideas and improved practices.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Farm Manager to join our team in assisting with the management of our Tamworth Region farms.About the roleIn this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Farm Manager to manage the day-to-day operations within cutting edge, tunnel ventilated broiler bird farms, providing strong leadership to a small team of approximately six to eight staff, in order to ensure cost effective and efficient bird production. As the Assistant Farm Manager, you'll collaborate with, and provide support to, the Farm Manager through assisting with all of their duties and responsibilities.About youTo be considered for the Assistant Farm Manager role, you will need to have at least two years' experience in supervisory roles within broiler/breeder farms. You'll be confident in working closely with staff in order to provide guidance and support and take a collaborative approach as you work alongside the Farm Manager.You are efficient, with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude. You are a proven self-starter who is able to work well in a small team. The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and be an open-minded, passionate, competent, and hands-on leader.
