Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years.
A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

The Kimberley Region is currently recruiting for Assistant Engagement Directors at the EL1 level.
The Region's sub-regional teams are West Kimberley, Central Kimberley and East Kimberley.
As Assistant Engagement Directors, you will be part of a sub-regional team reporting directly to the Engagement Director providing support, leadership and advice.
Assistant Engagement Directors are responsible for: working with Engagement Officers to achieve the objectives identified above driving the implementation of the Empowered Communities model in the Kimberley Region, through close engagement with internal colleagues and the relevant Empowered Communities backbone organisation developing effective strategic partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders including First Nations peoples, community partners, business and organisations managing stakeholder expectations of the NIAA work program, priorities and program change, considering local and cultural sensitives and stakeholder business imperatives leading and supporting employee performance and contribution to regional results providing strategic advice and specialist expertise across a broad range of activities including community engagement, customer service delivery, policy development and culture.

The ability to travel, including overnight stays, is required and therefore a current Drivers Licence is essential.
