Details: The Assistant Director, Training Hub will work closely with the Director, Training Management, Analysts and Senior Directors to develop and maintain the training program required for the Digital Health Record (DHR) and ancillary systems. The Trainer will be designated to a one or more focus area/s and will be responsible for all training activities for that area.
Under general direction from the Director, Training Management the Assistant Director, Training Hub will be responsible for:
Developing role-based training content using a variety of software programs, tools and applications. Designing, developing and maintaining instructional materials. Developing and maintaining policy and procedure documentation. Responding to questions from end-users about the use of the system. The implementation of the train the trainer program for the relevant area. Collaborating with other trainers to lead training programs. Preparing training lessons, printing materials and setting up the training room and environment prior to the training session. Following up with trainees outside of the classroom to offer additional support. Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed as well as the training of staff and end users by teaching technical topics as needed. Ensuring work is performed to a high standard and in accordance with established timelines. Documenting and reviewing the status of tasks and issues on an ongoing basis including participating in meetings and preparing documentation for governance committees. Leading a team of other trainers as required. Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate. Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Hold or be prepared to complete an Epic certification in a required Epic application. Successful completion of an Epic certification is mandatory and if an applicant is unable to complete within 6 months, ongoing employment in this position may be affected. Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check. All ACT employees are required to undergo employment screening. However, if you are selected for this position you will be required to gain and maintain a Baseline or Negative Vetting Level 1 National Security Clearance. If screening is not successful, your employment in the role will not commence or, if already commenced, will be reassessed. Note: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
