Collaborating with team members, this role oversees Suburban Land Agency's (SLA) sales of various land types in the ACT. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing processes, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. If so, we want YOU to join our team as our Rental Equipment Manager.As the Rental Equipment Manager, you'll play a crucial role in managing our plant hire operations, overseeing all aspects of the rental process from start to finish, maintaining utilisation (at least 65%) of the hire fleet to drive maximum profitability.This a full time, permanent position based in Henderson and will report to the Chief Executive Officer. You will foster client connections and drive new business through face to face visits locally and with occasional travel throughout Australia including regional sites.A company vehicle will be provided along with parking at the front door. A competitive remuneration is also on offer ($90,000 per annum base salary + commission).About the role:• Oversee and manage all aspects of the plant hire process• Determine customer rental needs and develop comprehensive pricing quotes• Work closely with production team to ensure rental plant availability• Administer contract management of rental agreements and ensure accurate monthly invoicing and hours records• Maintain up to date asset register information of rental fleet• Facilitate, coordinate and undertake loading and unloading of equipment for delivery and familiarisation (set up) of rental equipment withcustomers• Provide excellent customer service through follow up with customers with regard to machine conditions on site• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely service and repair of rental plant• Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth through marketing initiatives and client relationships• Stay at the forefront on industry trends on sessional crushing• Maintain detailed rental pipeline and revenue reports• Coordinate rental equipment maintenance program and service schedulesAbout you:• 3 years plus experience in a similar Rental Equipment Manager role within a SME environment• Comprehensive knowledge of plant used within the mining, quarry and recycling industry• Experience in rental processes and contract management of industrial plant including regulations regarding licensing, registration andenvironmental guidelines etc.• Proven track record of achieving high utilisation rates for hire of plant and securing new business• High level organisational, time management and planning skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively• Intermediate/advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Customer Relationship Management databases)• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiation and customer service skillsQualifications, tickets and licenses• Qualifications in Business, Commerce or Sales (desirable but not essential)• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (desirable)• White Card• Drivers licenseApplicants must have permanent unrestricted working rights within Australia.
