This role is being advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing, with the employment type to be determined in negotiation with the preferred candidate and the NIAA delegate.
Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years.
A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced project management professional who is passionate about transformation, staff development and Portfolio, Program and Project Management (P3M), to join our Transformation Management Office (TMO).
This key leadership position will suit someone who likes working with a considerable degree of independence under broad direction from the Director. The Assistant Director has shared responsibility to build and uplift project management capability across the Agency. They will do this by working alongside or being directly embedded into project teams, to support the planning and delivery of the Agency's key priority initiatives and ensure quality outcomes are achieved.
