ASSISTANT DIRECTOR of STUDENTS (Years 10-12) – POL 1Location: Simonds Catholic CollegeType: OngoingRole: Position of LeadershipHours: Full-timeCloses: 11-10-2024About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for student wellbeing for the position of Assistant Director of Students (Years 10-12). This role will assist in fostering student wellbeing and ensuring the smooth coordination of activities for Years 10-12, working closely with the Director of Students.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Director of Students to support the welfare, discipline, and academic progress of students.Assist in managing student behaviour and adherence to the College's Behaviour Management Policy.Oversee the implementation of pastoral care programs in line with College guidelines.Monitor the delivery of key year-level activities, such as the Year 12 Formal and Year 10 Work Experience.Foster a caring, orderly learning environment that supports students' personal development and wellbeing.The position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will hold a full-time ongoing teaching role on appointment, with a leadership tenure of 2 years.
