As the Assistant Director of Nursing, Priority Projects, you will support initiatives in the Office of the Chief Nurse Officer which may include General Election Commitments, Nursing and Midwifery Certified Agreement (EBA) projects, demand management and models of care projects, and workforce and professional issues projects.

The Assistant Director of Nursing, Priority Projects supports initiatives in the Office of the Chief Nurse Officer which may include General Election Commitments, Nursing and Midwifery Certified Agreement (EBA) projects, demand management and models of care projects, and workforce and professional issues projects.
In this role you will lead project and program management techniques and methodologies to develop a detailed schedule for priority projects and initiatives, including the capture of project related data.
You will work collaboratively with technical and advisory working parties to support priority initiatives and provide efficient and effective use of human and material resources in a specific area within a dynamic health environment.
The successful person You will have demonstrated:
Previous experience in Program and Project Management is highly regarded. Possession of a relevant post graduate qualification (i.e., Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Master's Degree) or evidence of enrolment in such a program is highly desirable. Highly desirable recency of practice in senior nursing leadership position is highly regarded. Highly desirable recency of experience in managing contemporary nursing related projects and initiatives at a senior level.
