Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit is a Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service resource unit that supports the Nursing and Midwifery profession in strategic recruitment and retention. NMWU supports the line managers in the following: Agency Nursing/Midwifery engagement, Yearly Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration renewal reporting, Business Planning Framework education, co-ordination, and support, Credentialing and Defining Scope of Clinical Practice, Graduate recruitment and reporting and Recruitment support.
About the role:
As the Assistant Director of Nursing you will provide ongoing training and development to Nursing and Midwifery Workforce and finance staff in particular: Nurse Unit Managers, Maternity Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Finance, Business Managers and HR in the development of service profiles and the application and implementation. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with professional leads from Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer and Queensland Nurses and Midwives Union to measure and evaluate the contribution of Nursing and Midwifery Workforce in the operational achievement of performance and productivity targets.
About you: Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).While not mandatory, a relevant post graduate qualification would be well regarded.Demonstrated evidence which fosters the reputation of the CQ Health; takes ownership and personal accountability; for the standards of care for the NMWU and demonstrates a commitment to and pride in the services delivered; applies appropriate priorities, negotiation skills and effective time management.Demonstrated experience, advanced knowledge, and capability in the application of the Business Planning Framework (BPF) and associated business systems within diverse clinical environments.What we offer:Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $15,534 p.m. is comprised of:
