As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Prospect, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
About Goodstart Prospect Goodstart Prospect is located in a residential area, opposite Blackfriars Priory School. Your new purpose-built Early Learning centre has six separate and spacious age-based learning spaces, including two nursery, two toddler learning spaces, and two kindergarten rooms. Stimulating and welcoming indoor environments, while outside we offer many sensory and play-based opportunities for learning. The design is a modern yet home-like, naturally inspired environment. All outdoor play spaces are directly accessible from the indoor learning areas. Our Centre Director Nicole has been with Goodstart since 2018 and has been in leadership for the last 5 years. Nicole values the strong relationships shared between families, children, and educators, believing these are key to supporting happy, strong, and independent learners. Building a safe, welcoming, and supportive community for children, families, and educators at our Centre is her top priority. In this role, you will: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care. Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team. Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence. Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide. You'll need: A Diploma or bachelor's in early childhood education. Hold a current Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one. Experience with leading and managing change within education, health, or community services. Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
