This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Director, Educational Leader, to showcase their expertise within the early childhood industry for our Centre in the Gungahlin region. This position has the opportunity for career progression.
As an Assistant Director you must be passionate about creating great learning experiences for children, families, the team and local community. You are keen to grow your own skills and talents to really make a difference.
Your role will be to assist with ensuring the Centre provides the highest quality care and education for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years, build strong relationships with families and be a role model of best practice to our team of dedicated Educators.
As an Assistant Director:
Assist with managing the daily operations of the Centre in line with legislative requirements, Company expectations, policies and procedures;Develop positive and open professional relationships with families, children and staffProvide strong leadership, support and guidance to all educatorsEnsure our Centre provides high quality education, development and care to the childrenAssist with managing the financial requirements of the Centre in line with budget guidelinesAssist with Roster Management and attendancesAssist with ensuring the Centre is compliant with all Centre policies, State Legislation and National Quality StandardsAssist with ensuring all Health & Safety standards are maintained in accordance with legislation and Company standardsKeep regularly informed about the NQF, NQS and the current National Regulations plus current thinking, research and practice while implementing the EYLFAssist with the implementation of new initiatives to encourage increased occupancyAs an Educational Leader:
