Assistant Development Manager – Masterplanned Communities

The Opportunity - About the Role
Location : South Brisbane, with flexibility to work from the CBD, project offices, and home.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our high-performing, multi-disciplinary team at Stockland.
As an Assistant Development Manager, you will support our Teams in executing project strategies with a focus on safety and commercial success.
We have both permanent and contract positions available.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Development team to ensure projects are scoped, designed, and delivered according to business strategy, vision, and profitability goals.
Support project delivery to meet schedule, revenue, and cost objectives.
Assist in driving sales and marketing activities to achieve business plan targets.
Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders, including authorities.
Prepare and maintain financial models for current and prospective projects.
Work with the project leadership team to control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting.
Monitor on-site progress, participate in site meetings, and follow up on action items.
Support the implementation of the Residential Sustainability Policy and community development initiatives.
Procure and tender consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Use business acumen to monitor market and competitor activity to maintain competitiveness.
About You
Degree qualified in a related discipline with experience in planning, construction, or the development process, including development or project management.
Experience in land development / subdivision is highly regarded.
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
Proven track record in achieving customer-focused outcomes.
Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
Strong ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Resilient with excellent communication skills.
Commercially astute with strong report writing skills.
QLD driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
