Assistant / Contracts Administrator - Industrial Projects - ASAPExtensive project pipeline in Industrial and Commercial sectors to $100m+Excellent career progression, culture and employee wellness policyGreat opportunity to join a head contractor with excellent presence in the industrial sector with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects.A market leading industrial head contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an Assistant / Contracts Administrator to join their growing business.Projects will be of an Industrial nature up to about $100m; experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar will be an advantage.You will be responsible for the management and administration of contracts throughout the project life cycle. In addition, you will ensure that the high quality and profitability of the projects are maintained while financial and contractual risks are minimised.The position will be based out of the head office with visits to site.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing all facets of the subcontract processProcessing variationsNegotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for reviewPrepare, check and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedulesMonitor subcontractors to ensure they are adhering to environmental commitments and responsibilitiesPreparation of accurate payment schedulesUnderstand and manage subcontractor contractual riskProcess progress claims, delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligationsPreparation of project budgets for review and provide accurate rolling final account forecastsQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similarMinimum 2 to 5 years+ experience in the construction industry – a Tier 1, 2 or 3 background would be idealStrong financial analysis and administrative focusGood negotiation skillsStrong project reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suiteConstruction Safety Induction (white) cardThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click "Apply" to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague-Day on or via email on or Sam Barnes on or for further information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
