Compliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services)Full timeCompany: Bank of China (4th largest bank in terms of assets internationally)Position: Assistant Compliance Manager (AML)Team: Transaction Analysis and Reporting TeamDepartment: Legal & ComplianceLocation: Sydney CBDTerm: This is a TWO Year Term Contract, with the possibility of becoming an ongoing role after the contract period has ended.Interviews: Interviews will be conducted via phone/video conference until further notice.Closing Date For Applications: 22/1/2025Overall ResponsibilitiesConduct investigations on potential suspicious transaction alerts effectively and prepare good quality disposition.Meet the daily KPI for transaction alert analysis.Fill in SMR as required.Assist supervisor in carrying out further review and investigation on TM cases.Retain records and update registers with regard to investigation.Assist in other AML related tasks, such as system testing, training preparation, administration, etc.Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree or above in commerce or related field.1+ years' experience in the banking sector.Experience in AML transaction monitoring/analysis is an advantage.Good analytical skills.Ability to work under minimum supervision.Proactive and self-initiated.Good knowledge of AML and banking products.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
