As an Assistant Accountant, you'll contribute to ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reporting, as well as supporting our operational efficiency and growth in the region.
About the Role In this role, you'll join a high performing team to assist in the delivery of timely and accurate services including:
End of month processing: balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger journals, accruals, fixed asset accounting, and prepayments.Bank reconciliations.Ad-hoc reporting.Supporting the preparation of BAS statements, FBT, and other tax-related filings.Maintaining up-to-date and accurate financial records, supporting internal and external governance and audits.About You Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting or related tertiary discipline.Minimum 1 year experience in a similar accounting role.Strong customer service ethic with an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.Exceptional attention to detail, effectively multitask and prioritise.Ability to work independently, and be self-motivated. Oracle or large ERP experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel highly regarded.An understanding of accounting standards.Please note: You must hold Australian work rights to apply for this position.
