About the Role
Our Operations Accountants are responsible for end-to-end financial management, including billing calculations, invoicing, reconciliation, and month-end close activities.
As a key member of our Sydney based Finance Team, you will be integral to the financial management for our key accounts, ensuring that our customers achieve their business objectives.
You will be responsible for:
· Performing billing calculations and invoicing for our 3PL customers.
· Preparing and performing all assigned tasks for casual and permanent labor, including timesheet reconciliation, cost allocations, and reporting dashboards.
· Performing all assigned accounting and month-end close activities, including general ledger reconciliations (balance sheet & ad hoc reconciliations), inventory adjustments, operations asset register, 3PL revenue accruals, and preparing journals.
· Maintaining and administering non-trade and sundry vendor activities in support of day-to-day operations and end-of-month accruals.
· Assisting with the Likewize Warehouse Expense Statement, including performing the freight reconciliation for all lines of business.
· Assisting with the preparation and calculation of KPI (e.g., productivity) reporting.
· Conducting profitability analysis for 3PL customers.
· Managing all daily Optus activities, including sales transactions, inventory reconciliation, and adjustments.
· Performing inventory adjustments for Likewize distribution.
· Seeking out continuous improvement opportunities across the Finance Team.
· Upholding all Likewize and Team Values in all interactions and activities.
About You

You will require a solid understanding of accounting principles, month-end close activities, and financial analysis.
Previous exposure within a finance environment will ensure you are best placed for success in this role.
You will be highly analytical, comfortable using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting platforms, with an ability to communicate and engage customers and stakeholders with insights and recommendations for improvement.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
· Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines;
· experienced with performing reconciliations of large data sets using Excel functions;
· good interpersonal and communication skills;
· degree qualified in a business-related discipline (accounting).
Desirable:
· Background in supply chain and distribution environments;
· experience with Tier 1 ERP packages, preferably JDE;
· experience with producing reporting dashboards, e.g., Power BI;
