About the Role The main function of this role is to provide accounting support in relation to NDIS, including billing, service agreement tracking and reconciliations.
Key Role Accountabilities: Align one's workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values. Assist with the implementation of system changes for NDIS billing.Review and track NDIS Service Agreements for accuracy and completeness and liaise with central agreements team regarding new and revised agreements and issues as they arise. Collate service delivery data from client systems and input into billing process for accurate and timely generation of AR invoices to NDIS participants and Plan Managers. Create service bookings in accordance with NDIS service agreements and process NDIS payment requests in PRODA for agency managed clients.Processing and reconciliation of PRODA remittance files.Perform general ledger reconciliations on NDIS revenue accounts in TechOne. Liaise with NDIA, plan managers, clients and internal service area staff as required to provide information and resolve queries. Follow up of outstanding NDIS debtAbout You Basic understanding (or ability to acquire) of NDIS price guide and the context for NDIS service delivery.Demonstrated experience in windows-based computer applications including intermediate to advanced skills in the use of MS Excel.Demonstrated understanding and experience in accounts receivable and revenue processes.A high standard of customer service skills with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders including government departments, staff of all levels, clients and their families.Demonstrated high level of reconciliation skills and attention to detail.Strong organisational skills, including the ability to work in a team environment, complete work within deadlines and with limited supervision.Commitment to the values of Wesley Mission Queensland as well as an understanding and commitment to the principles and practices of continuous quality improvement and workplace health and safety.Desirable:  Experience with NDISExperience with Technology OneWhat makes a difference for us: Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.Current Driver's Licence and willingness to drive in the course of work.Why Join Us We value diversity, strive for inclusion, and come together to walk alongside those in need to provide hope and compassion.
