They specialise in property investment and development as well as developing, owning and operating lifestyle communities for independent over 50's.Job DescriptionAssisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports.Ensuring accurate financial records through reconciliation of statements and transactions.Contributing to budget setting and forecast processes.Supporting the month-end and year-end close process.Participating in tax audits and tax returns preparation.Assisting in internal and external auditing procedures.Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable functions.Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.The Successful ApplicantA successful Assistant Accountant should have:A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.What's on OfferAn annual salary range of $70,000 - $85,000.A supportive and inclusive company culture.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.If this position aligns with your career aspirations, we encourage you to apply today.
