Assistant Accountant

We have the perfect opportunity for someone who has a passion for numbers and the drive to learn.Located in Colac or Geelong, this role reports to the Finance Manager and offers the opportunity to:Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reportsSupport monthly closing processes and reconciliation of accountsHelp maintain accurate financial records and assist with auditsCollaborate with team members across the business on various financial projects and analysesContribute to process/system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyOur successful applicant will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and will demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement. Either relevant accounting qualifications or equivalent work experience is necessary along with a sound knowledge of Excel.
