We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team and help our business expand. If you are wanting to step into a role where your input is truly valued, this role is for you! This role is based in our Brisbane office 4 days a week and will be reporting to the Director of Finance.WHAT WILL YOU DO?You will prepare month end tasks including accruals, prepayments and other GL reconciliations.You will prepare periodic financial and management reports.You will assist with tax compliance, including GST/BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax and reconcile bank accounts.You will support the accounts payable function and effectively resolve discrepancies, queries, & escalations.You will assist with billing & accounts receivable processes and support external & internal audit process.ABOUT YOU?Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or relevant field.Achievement of or studying towards professional qualifications (CA or CPA) will be highly regarded.Ideally 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.Strong communicator who can collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated excel expertise is necessary.Customer service experience and are passionate about delivering a great interaction.Strong attention to detail and can problem solve using initiative.WHY WORK FOR US?At Dye & Durham we strive to be visionaries!
