We locally manufacture and distribute a complete range of quality metal roofing and rainwater products to the domestic and commercial markets.
Steeline employ approximately 150 people and are located in Albury (HO), Bendigo, Shepparton, Wagga Wagga and Bathurst.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our Head Office in Albury. The role incorporates eight different legal entities owned by the Group, so is very diverse in nature.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have strong communication skills and previous experience or illustrate ability to learn all aspects of the Head Office Accounting role.
The main aspects of the role are: General ledger processing and reporting to the BoardPayrollPayroll Tax ReportingBAS reconciliations and lodgementsBank reconciliationsCredit card reconciliationsAccounts PayableIT skillsHR documentationSoftware packages used in the business include Xero, Micronet, Word, Excel and ODBC.
Remuneration will be discussed with the successful candidate and will be based on experience. Training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
We are also open to negotiating hours for this position (either full or part time). Ideal for a graduate or part time accounting student.
