About the role: We are currently looking for an assistant accountant to join our team based in our National Support office in Burnley! As part of our wider finance department, this role will focus specifically on fixed assets for Bunnings. The main focus for the role will be to assist in maintaining the integrity of the fixed asset register and capital works in progress.
What's involved: This is a great role which will require excellent attention to detail, time management and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders across our store operations and our support office functions.
You'll need: Ideally degree qualified in commerce/business and you are working towards your CPA/CA currently You have some recent experience in a financial/corporate accounting role – any experience working with fixed assets already would be advantageous You bring with you excellent attention to detail, demonstrated experience analysing and reviewing data and enjoy working in a busy team environment You have at least Intermediate level Excel experience You have an appetite to learn from your broader finance team We're here to support you.
